Eviation - Electric Aerospace Pioneer (Marketing/PR Strategy)

Across roles, I have worked closely with innovation- and product-led organisations, translating complex engineering, technology and strategic ambition into narratives that resonate across markets. At The Clermont Group (private investment/PE firm), this included directing communications for two of the group’s holding companies: Eviation (electric aerospace), and magniX (developing powertrains/batteries for the electrification of transportation). This work involved articulating the engineering ambition behind a first of its kind electric aviation programme and supporting early commercial momentum, including an order book exceeding $2bn, as well as managing press liaison, supported by PR agencies in both the US and Singapore. My focus has consistently been on storytelling that compounds over time, building belief through substance, clarity and restraint, rather than volume alone.

After I moved on from the PE firm, funding was withdrawn from Eviation and the pioneering electric avaition programme is currently on ice. I will watch its future with great interest.
